📍 Location: Queensway, Rochdale
💷 Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
⏰ Hours: Average 42 hours per week
📅 Shifts: 4 on / 4 off – 18:00 to 06:00

👷 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Caretaker / Handyman to work night shifts in a factory environment in Rochdale. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-run building and is comfortable working independently during night operations.

There may also be opportunities to pick up extra hours by covering Supervisor or additional Caretaker shifts.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

As a Caretaker / Handyman, your duties will include:

• 🔐 Locking and unlocking areas within the factory.

• 🗑 Emptying bins across the factory shop floor.

• 🧻 Replenishing toilet rolls and hand towels.

• 🎨 Painting, including floor painting and line markings.

• 🧹 Sweeping and cleaning under machinery.

• ♻ Assisting with recycling and waste management.

• 🛠 General maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 👨‍🔧 Previous experience as a Caretaker, Handyman, or similar role.

• 🏭 Experience in a factory or industrial environment.

• ⏱ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• 💪 Comfortable with physical and manual tasks.

• 🌙 Able to work night shifts on a rotating pattern.
