Cleaner – Newcastle NE1

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–10:00am, plus Sunday for 2 hours (anytime during the day)
Total Hours: 12 hours per week
Pay: £12.71 per hour (£152.52 per week)
Pay Frequency: Monthly

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, active and customer-focused Cleaner to join our team in a dynamic environment in Newcastle city centre.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining communal areas to a high standard

• Ensuring all areas are tidy, clean and well presented

• Carrying out cleaning duties independently and efficiently

• Taking a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness

• Reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues when required

• Providing a professional and friendly service

About You

• Previous cleaning or facilities experience is preferred but not essential

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Able to work independently and use your own initiative

• Good attention to detail

• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Customer-focused with a professional attitude
